ingenious packaging

This is the (paper) box for my new pen, a Faber Castell Avori.

After peeling the wrap off (tore that one so no picture) you see this:

Then when you open the box...

Gorgeous. But! Do you see the elastic?

And then I realised why! When you remove the pen holder you have a pen case, the strap is for closure.

PS Only after i figured that all out myself, I noticed the text in the lid 🤣

PPS The pen writes like a dream!

Genious design, definitely using the pen case now!
